What is Students in Antarctica?
Before Students in Antarctica, there was Matrics in Antarctica. For five remarkable years, Riaan Manser led five students from South Africa on an unforgettable educational journey to the southern most point on Earth. Now, we are excited to extend this unique opportunity to students across the entire African continent with the launch of Students in Antarctica.
This initiative not only promises an extraordinary adventure to one of the most remote and breathtaking locations on the planet but also aims to ignite passion and commitment in young minds. By participating, students will explore critical issues surrounding sustainability and environmental stewardship, empowering them to make a tangible difference in their communities.
